Why does katara have a sword? Cuz in tai chi (martial art that waterbending's based on) they use swords sometimes. There's a special name for the sword but...i forgot....so....yeah.

Katara's looking pretty good with a sword, she would make a great swordswoman if she's given a sword like that and combines it with her waterbending.
